Corregate fin
Aspect ratio 20 times. Standardization of tall corrugated fins. Presentation of materials introducing examples of problem-solving.
The "Corrugated Fin" is a heat transfer fin made by bending thin sheet metal using our unique equipment. Generally, as the aspect ratio (fin height ÷ fin pitch) increases, the fin thickness becomes thicker and the gaps become smaller. However, by bending thin sheet metal, sufficient gaps can be secured even with an aspect ratio of 20 or more. Moreover, even with a large aspect ratio, the gaps are maintained, making it significantly lighter compared to typical heat sinks of the same size. The maximum fin height is 75mm and the flow path length is 100mm, but we can also accommodate requests for custom dimensions. 【Features】 ■ Lightweight while maintaining size and surface area ■ Three sizes available in the lineup (as of September 2021) ■ For users of our folding fins, both sides of the fin contribute to the heat exchange area, allowing for an increase in surface area while remaining lightweight. *You can view materials introducing examples of problem-solving from the "PDF Download."
